The British Tag
I came across this tag when I was watching Essiebutton on YouTube, she is one of my favourite Youtubers, she seems very down to earth and a genuinely nice person.

1. How many cups of tea do you have a day? How many sugars?
I have to say I am someone who loves their tea, I normally have 4 cups of tea a day, but they range from green tea to earl grey tea, in tea bags or in lose leaves!
I just LOVE tea!
I also love that sugar! so I put three sugars in my tea and sneak extra when no one is looking.
2. Favourite part of your roast?
This might come to a surprise to many people, but i'm not a big fan of roast dinners! I like the thought of every sunday meeting with your family and all sitting down to a plate full of food and then falling asleep whilst watching Sherlock Holmes! But I do love a bit of stuffing and Yorkshire puddings.
3. Favourite dunking biscuit?
I love shortbread fingers. For many reasons, they are thick so they don't go too soggy and fall in your tea. The worst thing is broken biscuit at the bottom of your tea!
4. Favourite quintessentially British pastime?
Me and my sister love to go to the antique and look at the old tea cups and furniture. I love unique and quirky cups and mugs!
5. Favourite word?
My favourite British word has to be 'blimey' or 'cor blimey'. usually it is said when you're surprised or shocked.
6. Cockney rhyme slang?
My dad uses a lot of cockney rhyming slang, I guess I just picked up a couple of sayings:
Andy Murry - Curry,
Brussel sprouts - Scouts
Apple and pears - Stairs
7. Favourite sweet?
I dont eat that many sweets anymore but when I was younger I loved going to the corner shop to buy sweets. I love pear drops, which is a more typical British sweet, but the sweets I would always buy were Brain Lickers and Toxic Waste. Now I look back I realise that they were probably the worst thing for me, but I couldn't resist.
8. What would your pub be called?
I would have to call my pub 'The Tatty Rabbit'. My very first toy was a toy rabbit, after 18 years she is still together.... just! My family describe her as tatty but I still love her and I will take her everywhere with me!
9. No.1 British person?
This was a very hard question for me, I have never personally met anyone famous, and so i don't know what their real personality is like. I love Michael Caine he has to be one of my favourite actors. One of my favourite childhood films is The Italian Job! It's fantastic!
10. Favourite shop / Restaurant?
I dont eat out that much as we normally have home cooked meals everyday, but when we do eat out with my family it's normally pub grub. There is massive portions and I like the cosy feel of a pub, with the dimmed lighting and old scratched furniture!
11. What British song pops into your head?
Baggy Trousers by Madness. Me and my boyfriend spend ages playing it on repeat trying to learn all the words to it, I must admit we are pretty shocking singers.
12. Marmite?I know for the majority of people Marmite is either HATE it or LOVE it.
I really don't mind it. But it has to be done in a very specific way, the marmite has to be mixed with lots of butter, until it is a very pale golden colour and then I spread it into my sandwich. It looks disgusting, but tastes so much better!
I tag anyone who reads this post, and please comments down below if you agree with any of my answers, I would like to hear from you guys!
